Samsung TV Plus Exclusives Unveils Trailer for its First Original Scripted Series, Unlikely Romances Presented by Dhar Mann Studios

Today, under its Exclusives banner, Samsung TV Plus unveiled the trailer for its first-ever original scripted series, Unlikely Romances. The series is created and produced by Dhar Mann Studios, the audience-first global entertainment company dedicated to uplifting the world by creating stories that help people feel seen and connected. Creator Dhar Mann, widely recognized as one of the world’s most influential storytellers with more than 170 million followers and approx. 300M weekly views across platforms, serves as writer and executive producer. The first four-part installment of the anthology series will premiere on Friday, June 5 at 9pm ET, with new episodes debuting weekly through June 26. The series will be available to stream on Samsung Television Network (STN) in the US and on the exclusive Dhar Mann TV channel across the US, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Unlikely Romances is a heartwarming anthology series about love stories that happen where people least expect them. Set within the same city and shared world, each episode follows two people who, on paper, should never work as a couple, but when unexpected circumstances bring them together, they are forced to challenge their assumptions, confront what others expect of them, and discover that love often finds its way beyond labels, rules, and expectations.

Building off the successful launch of Dhar Mann TV last fall, the project marks another major milestone for Samsung TV Plus as the service continues its expansion into original content. For Dhar Mann Studios, this series represents the company’s continued work in bridging traditional entertainment and the creator space, bringing Dhar’s signature positive, uplifting storytelling into a more cinematic and longform television format on Samsung TV Plus. Unlikely Romances joins the recently announced six-part original docuseries Hooligans: The ARCH Racing Project with Keanu Reeves & Gard Hollinger, also premiering this summer.
