Supported by Samsung and Microsoft, these partners grow customer revenue and re-invigorate businesses across healthcare, retail, food services and hospitality.<\/p>\n<p>On display at the Samsung booth:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>Healthcare Connectivity via Wearables by <em>BlueMetal<\/em><\/u><\/strong><strong>: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.insight.com\/content\/insight-web\/en_US\/solve\/services\/digital-transformation.html?utm_source=pr&amp;utm_medium=PR&amp;utm_campaign=PR_general&amp;utm_term=pr_general&amp;utm_content=Inspire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BlueMetal, an Insight company<\/a>, will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insight.com\/en_US\/about\/newsroom\/media-center\/bluemetal-named-2017-microsoft-partner-of-the-year.html?utm_source=pr&amp;utm_medium=PR&amp;utm_campaign=PR_general&amp;utm_term=pr_general&amp;utm_content=Inspire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">demonstrate their approach<\/a> to Connected Care solutions using the Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 and Galaxy Book. Connected Care is an intuitive and customizable solution that connects care teams with patients. Connected Care empowers physicians to send patients medication and exercise reminders through a wearable device. Patients can confirm completion of activities and send this information back to physicians by tapping their wearable.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Connected Smart Store by Confiz<\/u>:<\/strong> This retail solution optimizes a consumer\u2019s path to purchase while increasing employee efficiency. Built over the mobility platform CORE, it orchestrates the retail engagement across all touch points. When a store customer selects an item of interest from their mobile store app, employees will receive a notification on their Samsung wearable or mobile device. Employees can prepare a dressing room for the customer, with their selections. Customers can then ask for further assistance in picking a different size or color via their app, enabling employees to receive the customer\u2019s instructions on their Samsung device and bring their merchandise to the fitting room.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Restaurant Order-to-Pay Solution by <em>Infusion<\/em>:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>Infusion will showcase an \u201corder-to-pay\u201d solution in use at a restaurant, using the Samsung Galaxy Book for customer ordering and payments, and Gear S3 wearables for employee task management. Once a customer orders their food, employees receive a notification on wearables so they then start preparing the order. Payments can be made as well, improving workflow from order through fulfillment, driving quicker service and more satisfied customers.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Connected Room Hospitality Solution by <em>Teknikos:<\/em><\/u><\/strong> This integrated solution empowers a unified relationship between guests and hotels through coordinated delivery of services and communications across multiple devices. On-demand digital concierge services are available on the Samsung Galaxy S8, an in-room Galaxy Book, and a TV, digitally connecting guests with hotel amenities. Restaurant reservations and service request confirmations are sent to a Samsung Gear S3 wearable to complete a holistic hotel stay experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Smart Airports using Analytics by HARMAN<\/strong><br \/>\nAlso at Inspire 2017, <a href=\"http:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-electronics-completes-acquisition-of-harman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HARMAN<\/a>, a wholly-owned Samsung Electronics subsidiary, will showcase an IoT-enabled solution for airports that demonstrates how asset tracking and predictive maintenance can improve operational excellence and passenger satisfaction, while mitigating security risks.\u00a0 The solution uses secure Samsung sensors to send data to a Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, and data is assimilated by HARMAN\u2019s predictive analytics solutions, after which relevant data is sent to an employee\u2019s Samsung wearable or mobile phone.
