EDISON, N.J., September 26, 2017<\/strong>\u00a0– <\/em><\/span>Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ)<\/strong> is proud to announce that Joseph Stinziano<\/strong><\/a>, Executive Vice President of Consumer Electronics and Enterprise IT at Samsung Electronics America, has been elected to its State Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

Since 2014, Samsung Electronics America has partnered with Junior Achievement in their mission to bring financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs to the students of New Jersey. During Samsung\u2019s bi-annual Days of Service<\/a>, where the company connects to meaningful causes within their own communities, employees have visited local elementary school students to teach Junior Achievement\u2019s financial literacy curriculum.<\/p>\n

Samsung has also opened its doors to students within the JANJ program, offering mentoring and executive engagement opportunities. Throughout the partnership, Stinziano has been an active advocate of the partnership, consistently engaging with the students and championing their success.<\/p>\n

\u201cJoe is a dynamic and accomplished business leader and we are excited to welcome him to our board of directors,\u201d said Catherine Milone, President of Junior Achievement of New Jersey.<\/strong> \u201cNot only has he been a true mentor to the students in the program, but Joe is the kind of creative and strategic thinker that will truly help make a positive impact on Junior Achievement as we continue to empower the future leaders of tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always admired and supported the Junior Achievement vision,\u201d said Joseph Stinziano<\/strong>. \u201cThrough the partnership with Samsung, I have continuously been inspired by the passion and drive of the students that JANJ serves and I look forward to playing a larger role in empowering them for successful futures.\u201d<\/p>\n

Having joined Samsung in 2009, Stinziano has previously held positions as head of Consumer Business, Senior Vice President of Home Entertainment, and Senior Vice President of Consumer Sales. An industry veteran of over 25 years, Stinziano\u2019s experience includes managing market leading brand within CE, Telecom, and IT. An Alumnus of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an avid sports fan, Joe is admired by his colleagues for his leadership style that combines innovative thinking with a drive to succeed.<\/p>\n
