Washington, D.C., October 30, 2018<\/strong>\u2013<\/span> Samsung Electronics America, Inc.<\/strong> today celebrated the grand opening of the company\u2019s new Solutions Center in Washington, D.C. \u2013 a multi-use, operational and interactive facility in the District\u2019s iconic Eastern Market neighborhood that will accelerate the company\u2019s leadership presence and impact in the nation\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

The event was hosted by CEO and President of Samsung\u2019s worldwide IT and Mobile division, DJ Koh, and Tim Baxter<\/a>, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics North America.<\/p>\n

Located at 700 Pennsylvania Avenue SE, the Solutions Center will support and advance agency missions of all kinds through the development of solutions that leverage Samsung\u2019s unique technical strengths. The Solutions Center will also serve as a convening space, offering Samsung B2G customers<\/a> and other partners the use of secure Wi-Fi, a space to work between meetings, and the ability to talk to technical staff regarding Samsung products and capabilities.<\/p>\n

As the new home of both Samsung\u2019s Global and U.S. B2G teams and the company\u2019s U.S. Public Affairs function, the facility will include a dynamic suite of offices and opportunities for employees and partners to have a shared collaboration space. The space also includes multi-purpose convening space with the ability to host meetings, fundraisers, town halls, salon dinners, etc. \u2013 ranging between 25 and 150 attendees and including multimedia presentations.<\/p>\n

By placing Samsung in closer proximity to Capitol Hill, the new Solutions Center will ultimately enable Samsung to educate lawmakers and government customers and other key audiences about the company\u2019s values, history, commitment to customers and commitment to America on a more regular basis.<\/p>\n
