Samsung unveiled connected and intelligent devices across the home appliance, home entertainment, mobile computing, automotive, and robotics categories as part of its vision for Connected Living.<\/p><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p>When Samsung took the stage at CES in 2018, we <a href=\"http:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/ces-2019-samsung-showcases-future-connected-living-press-conference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced a bold vision for Connected Living<\/a> that involves taking the half a billion devices we sell every year and making them connected and intelligent.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of 2018, we took important steps to make that vision a reality: first, we introduced a new, consolidated SmartThings app that unites all Samsung IoT platforms including Samsung Connect, Smart Home, Smart View and more. AI is integral to our vision of the future, because it simplifies a complex world, letting customers do more of what they love. Meanwhile, nearly two-thirds are comfortable with AI having a noticeable impact on daily life. Clearly, consumers are not only getting more comfortable with AI, they are also expecting it to be built into the products and services they like to use.<\/p>\n<p>At Samsung, we believe artificial intelligence should enhance user experience by making life simpler, easier, and better. In this coming year, we\u2019ll bring Bixby to more products and debut new partners like Google and iHeartRadio, giving people more ways to use intelligence to help them throughout the day. We\u2019re also expanding beyond the cloud to the edge and equipping more products with on-device AI.<\/p>\n<p>For fifty years, Samsung has entered one consumer electronics category after another with the same result \u2013 extreme success. Today, Samsung leads global market share in smartphones, TVs and semiconductors.
