With its new, cutting-edge design, the Galaxy S23 series<\/a> demonstrates that innovation brings both high-performance and sustainability<\/a> for the ultimate premium experience.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S23 series<\/a> raises the bar for both quality and aesthetics, designed with the planet in mind<\/a>. To achieve this, we incorporated recycled materials<\/a> in more device components than in any other previous Galaxy smartphone<\/a> and designed the packaging box using 100% recycled paper. The presence of recycled materials<\/a> in the Galaxy S23 series<\/a> has also been increased, rising from six internal components made from recycled materials in the Galaxy S22 Ultra<\/a> to 12 internal and external components incorporating recycled materials in the Galaxy S23 Ultra<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We also used a wider variety of recycled materials, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass, for use in the Galaxy S23<\/a>. By continuing to increase recycled materials in Galaxy devices, this helps us reduce our impact on the environment. Specifically, the use of recycled ocean-bound plastics<\/a> in the Galaxy S23 series<\/a> could prevent more than 15 tons[1]<\/a> of discarded fishing nets from entering the world\u2019s oceans by the end of 2023, helping to reduce ocean pollution.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S23 series<\/a> is built to last with durability and reparability, making it dependable for years to come. It\u2019s the first device to feature Corning\u00ae Gorilla\u00ae Glass Victus\u00ae 2, which offers durability for long-term use and contains an average of 22 percent pre-consumer recycled content. The Galaxy S23 series<\/a> also provides four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates, so users are protected for longer.<\/p>\n
