Samsung Electronics<\/a> has partnered with Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC)<\/a>, the world\u2019s largest startup competition and ecosystem for entrepreneurs addressing global challenges, to launch its own startup competition: The Samsung Climate & Circularity Tech Challenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Challenging Innovators To Ideate for a Better Future<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Following the announcement of its Environmental Strategy<\/a> in September 2022, Samsung<\/a> has been working closely with startups to invest in and develop innovative technologies capable of helping the planet.<\/p>\n

To further these efforts, Samsung<\/a> and XTC have announced The Samsung Climate & Circularity Tech Challenge<\/a>. This competition, focused on circular economy<\/a> and climate change<\/a>, seeks to identify new leading solutions that are in line with the values of Samsung\u2019s Environmental Strategy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Participants are encouraged to submit ideas that address resource circularity<\/a> related to not only the processing, sorting and extraction phases but also climate change innovation related to carbon emission measurement and management, carbon emission reduction and consideration for innovative and credible offset technology. Selected entries may be considered for implementation into Samsung\u2019s wide range of products<\/a> and associated manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n

The Samsung Climate & Circularity Tech Challenge<\/a> is open to social entrepreneurs and innovators.1<\/sup><\/a> Besides having the opportunity to see their ideas form the next generation of home electronics, successful participants will receive exposure on the global stage as well as the potential for investment and corporate strategic partnerships. Winning entries will also be allocated a presence within Samsung\u2019s exhibition at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, U.S.<\/p>\n
