School\u2019s out, but summer learning with Samsung<\/a> is in full swing for students in Texas.<\/p>\n

As part of the company\u2019s commitment to educate and empower the next generation<\/a>, the Samsung Care Team<\/a> hosted hands-on workshops, engaging Tech Talks and a Behind the Glass Experience for interested students in local communities.<\/p>\n

The summer started at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science<\/a> in Dallas, Texas, where the Perot Museum Teen Crew worked with Samsung technicians to disassemble and reassemble mobile devices<\/a>. \u00a0This activity is part of Samsung\u2019s Behind the Glass Experience that enables students to see what happens \u201cBehind the Glass\u201d of a technology repair center<\/a> and Samsung mobile screens. This hands-on experience provides a unique look into cutting-edge technology<\/a> for aspiring technicians.<\/p>\n

With the help of Samsung\u2019s \u201cWe Come to You<\/a>\u201d customer service vans, technicians were able to equip students with the necessary tools and devices needed to experience a full Behind the Glass Experience.<\/p>\n

Following the demo and disassembly, students had a chance to engage with the devices<\/a> and ask questions to a career panel made up of repair techs, trainers and training managers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The excitement continued at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center<\/a> in Dallas, a recreation center outfitted with Samsung technology<\/a>, as students explored how the latest devices<\/a> can help build a brighter future.<\/p>\n

Here, Samsung Retail and Customer Care Teams hosted repair demonstrations using some of the students\u2019 favorite devices before passing along the tools to transform the teens into technicians.<\/p>\n

The activity also educated students about the rapid evolution of the technology industry and included an interactive career panel about the day-to-day work of technicians and how Samsung trains<\/a> and supports the Care team.<\/p>\n

Over in Frisco, Texas, Samsung employees were able to join the excitement with their families as part of an ongoing Tech Talk series.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cMy two teen daughters, Imani and Anya, and I had the opportunity to attend a recent Tech Talk at the Samsung Care Center in Frisco, TX,<\/a>\u201d said Adeyinka Yarbough, <\/strong>Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at Samsung Electronics America. \u201cIt was an excellent experience to see what goes on behind the scenes in the tech repair world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBy getting hands-on engagement fixing a phone screen<\/a> and putting the device back together, my daughters were able to experience the advanced technology that Samsung has to help our technicians quickly and efficiently when customers have repair requests. The Samsung<\/a> team did a great job in keeping my teens engaged and I love the company initiatives in pushing STEM awareness to our youth<\/a>,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Venkata Kalva, Director, Ecommerce at Samsung Electronics America, had a similar experience with his son. \u201cThe session was awesome and the Samsung Care location<\/a> was an impressive space,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
