Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.<\/a> today announced the installation of four outdoor LED<\/a> displays \u2014 XHB series<\/a>, two measuring 7.935m x 4.83m and two measuring 5.865m x 3.105m \u2014 for the Vatican in St. Peter\u2019s Square. Featuring Harman Kardon embedded audio, the displays are situated throughout strategic points of the square to create a completely immersive experience that makes it easy for visitors to see and hear commencing events in premium quality.<\/p>\n

With optimized brightness and contrast ratios for precise, true-to-life imagery<\/a>, the XHB series<\/a> gives spectators the power to engage in ceremonies and celebrations more deeply than ever before. The displays are IP66-certified, meaning visitors can enjoy clear audio and visual quality even in harsh weather conditions. In addition, the extremely compact 99.4 mm-thin housing makes the displays perfectly integrable in an iconic space such as St. Peter\u2019s Square.<\/p>\n

Harman Kardon audio uses Adaptive Sound technology<\/a> to provide balanced panoramic audio throughout the space. The speakers convey crisp dialogues, even when the volume of voices is at a whisper.<\/p>\n

This installation builds on a previous collaboration between Samsung and Vatican City in 2020, where two indoor displays were installed in the Nervi Auditorium to help more visitors take part in the ceremonies.<\/p>\n
