The regional impact of the Taylor project alone is expected to be over $42 billion across Central Texas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Direct and Indirect Employment:<\/strong> Samsung Austin Semiconductor supported the creation of 4,500 direct, and an additional 9,935 indirect, jobs in Austin and 4,600 in Taylor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Education and Workforce Readiness Partnerships:<\/strong> Samsung Austin Semiconductor remains dedicated to expanding advanced manufacturing opportunities and STEM programs. The report details the investments made in critical partnerships in 2022, which have been built upon in 2023 with the recent announcement of $1 million plus donations to the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-electronics-commits-3-7-million-dollars-ut-austin-bolster-semiconductor-ecosystem-central-texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Texas at Austin\u2019s Cockrell School of Engineering<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/grainger.illinois.edu\/news\/stories\/59213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign\u2019s Grainger College of Engineering<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.tamu.edu\/news\/2023\/09\/samsung-austin-semiconductor-invests-1m-to-bolster-semiconductor-ecosystem-at-texas-am-university.html#:~:text=Samsung%20Austin%20Semiconductor%20is%20partnering,5%2DStar%20Workforce%20Development%20plan.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Texas A&amp;M University\u2019s College of Engineering<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community Giving:<\/strong> Building on its commitment to charitable giving and partnerships, Samsung Austin Semiconductor donated more than $1.5 million, benefiting over 50 local organizations. Building upon these efforts, in 2023, SAS donated $3.2 million to 76 area community organizations as part of its Samsung Gives initiative.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sustainability:<\/strong> Samsung Austin Semiconductor remains committed to being a responsible corporate partner.
