One UI 7 introduces a new interface built for AI, helping users interact with their Galaxy devices<\/a> more naturally than ever before. For added convenience, Now Bar<\/strong>1<\/sup><\/a> provides real-time updates right on the lock screen. So during a morning run, users can easily check their workout progress and see what song is playing in their Galaxy Buds<\/a> \u2014 all with a simple swipe, without unlocking their phone.<\/p>\n

One UI 7 introduces seamless AI-driven experiences that help users to stay productive and explore their creativity.<\/p>\n

With Galaxy AI<\/a>,2<\/sup><\/a> \u00a0users can simplify everyday tasks, minimizing the need to switch between applications. \u00a0AI Select3<\/sup><\/a> <\/strong>intuitively recommends actions based on selected content. For example, a user can easily swipe the Edge Panel and tap the \u2018AI Select\u2019 icon when watching a video to create a GIF file. Fan-favorite feature, Writing Assist,<\/strong>4<\/sup><\/a> also allows users to easily summarize or automatically format content in which text can be selected.<\/p>\n

One UI 7 even enables simple edits, giving users more creative control and freedom. Drawing Assist<\/strong>5<\/sup><\/a> helps bring ideas to life with more than a single input, including combinations of text prompts, images, or sketches. Audio Eraser<\/strong>6<\/sup><\/a> uses AI to analyze and categorize different types of sound from a video, allowing users to control the level of each sound and improve audio quality.<\/p>\n

With deeper Google Gemini<\/strong>7<\/sup><\/a> integration, controlling the device is as easy as speaking to a friend. After activating Gemini, say, \u201cFind Italian, pet-friendly restaurants with outdoor seating nearby.\u201d Gemini instantly pulls up recommendations in one seamless interaction.<\/p>\n

Natural language search8<\/sup><\/a> extends to Settings<\/strong>, making it easier to adjust preferences. Users can simply open Settings, tap the mic icon, and say \u201cMy eyes are feeling tired.\u201d In an instant, recommended options such as adjusting brightness or turning on Eye Comfort Shield appear.<\/p>\n
