Samsung Donates $100,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Celebration of Fifth Galaxy Studio Launch

Members from local Las Vegas Boys & Girls Clubs participated in exclusive meet and greet sessions with both Kelly Rowland and Marshmello.
Samsung celebrated the launch of its fifth Galaxy Studio on Thursday, September 28th, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV with a $100,000 donation to long-time partner, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The launch event was hosted by singer and Boys & Girls Clubs of America supporter Kelly Rowland, and featured a live musical performance by electronic dance music producer and artist DJ Marshmello.

Members from local Las Vegas Boys & Girls Clubs were in attendance at the event and received a private VIP tour of the Galaxy Studio, along with exclusive meet and greet sessions with both Kelly Rowland and Marshmello.
Attendees at the Galaxy Studio opening participated in immersive product experiences highlighting the Samsung ecosystem and showcasing the newly released Galaxy Note8.
“Our Galaxy Studios offer a unique and interactive way for consumers to truly experience the world of Samsung Galaxy products,” said Zach Overton, VP of Consumer Experience and GM of 837, Samsung Electronics America, who opened up the evening event. “Partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs for this opening is our way of giving back to the Las Vegas community.”
Overton also announced that to further help in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America mission to inspire and prepare the next generation of creators, a portion of the Samsung donation will be used to help rebuild the clubs in Houston affected by the recent hurricane.

Addressing a crowd of over 500 guests, Kelly Rowland shared how much Boys & Girls Clubs of America meant to her and stressed how important it is to invest in the future of kids and connect them with access to technology to help support their education.
The evening concluded with an electrifying live performance by Marshmello, performing his top hits including his latest release, “Silence.”
