In a stunning two-day showcase merging tech and fashion, Samsung 837 last week hosted fashion designers, brand experts, industry influencers and fashion enthusiasts taking part in its annual Style Dimension experience, in partnership with WWD.

Amid the backdrop of New York Fashion Week, guests immersed themselves in exclusive experiences with formidable brands like Becca , Bumble and bumble, GlamGlow , MAC Cosmetics and ORIGINS and culminated in the runway show of the Gypsy Sport Spring 2019 collection.

Celebrating Fashion History

The eponymous fashion brand, Badgley Mischka, celebrated 30 years of style with an exclusive Q+A presented by WWD. Kicking off the week, the designer duo, Mark Badgley and James Mischka, talked about the most iconic looks throughout the years and the legacy of the brand.

Primp and Style


Guests pop in between panels to the Bumble and bumble Hair Station where stylists work their magic to get guest photo ready.


Partner Bumble and bumble made sure everyone’s hair looked chic after stopping by their glam station available to all. Stylists not only touched up guests’ looks but provided tips and tricks on taming frizz and achieving the ultimate fashion-forward look.

In a panel on How To Make it in Fashion, Nicholas Kunz, Co-Founder of Nicholas K, and Torsten Hochstetter, Global Creative Director at Puma, emphasized that hard work and commitment are key to navigating the fashion industry as well as having a passion for fashion and product design, producing exceptional products and striving to meet the needs of consumers.

Glitter and Glam with MAC Cosmetics Master Class


MAC Cosmetics takes over the mainstage with a makeup demo featuring their newest collection with The Blonds.


MAC Cosmetics took over the mainstage with an in-depth Master Class session bringing the DIY Tutorial to life. Ashley Rudder, Director of Digital Artistry and Content for MAC brought her A-game, showing guests how to perfect an evening look. Drawing from her expertise in digital content, Rudder shared the impact tech has on the beauty industry, explaining, “technology has created a stage for everyone. It has allowed people to become more experienced with techniques and own their own personal beauty.”

Phillipe and David Blond Make an Appearance

The creative and fabulous force behind cult fashion brand The Blonds, made an appearance at Samsung 837 to debut their newest collection with MAC Cosmetics . The platinum duo posed with adoring fans and even captured a selfie using the new, super powerful Galaxy Note9 .

Ending the two-day WWD Style Dimension, WWD and Kate Spade designs brought color to the mainstage. Whimsical and chic, consumers got an up-close-and-personal look at the latest collection while meeting the faces behind the brand. Consumers were also treated to the opportunity to buy pieces straight from the collection using the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

Designer Rio Uribe pulled out all the stops when presenting his latest Spring 2019 collection at Samsung 837. Paying homage to nature melded with NYC street edge, the highly anticipated show drew a full house. From Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon making her runway debut to Whoopi Goldberg sitting front row, Gypsy Sport was the highlight of the week.
