[Q&A] Cameron and Cayden Boozer Dish on Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, Family, and Their First NCAA® Tournament

Following the launch of their new campaign for Galaxy S26 Ultra, freshman phenoms Cameron and Cayden Boozer sat down with Samsung Newsroom to talk about filming with their dad, former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, life as college athletes, and the NCAA® Tournament.

You’re both used to being in front of the camera for basketball, what was it like shooting a campaign like this?

Cameron: It’s definitely different. During games you’re not really thinking about the cameras, you’re just locked in on playing. With the campaign we got to slow things down a little and have fun with it, which was a different kind of challenge.

Cayden: It gave us a chance to show a little more personality. We’re always joking around anyway, so being able to bring that energy into the campaign made it feel natural.

Did either of you have a favorite moment from filming the campaign with your dad?

Cayden: Family is everything to us. We are where we are today because of our family, so getting to work on something like this together was really special. It was fun seeing our dad step into it with us and show he’s still got it.

Cameron: Our dad has a big personality so we knew it would come out in something like this. Getting to do something like this together off the court was really fun.

What made partnering with Samsung feel like the right fit for both of you?

Cameron: We’re young, our phones are a huge part of life. So for us it made a lot of sense to work with a brand that’s all about helping us stay connected with our friends, and do our best whether it’s on the court, in the classroom, or wherever.

Cayden: Yeah, exactly. Our phones are kind of how we keep up with everything — classes, workouts, game film, group chats. So partnering with Samsung just felt natural because it’s something we’re using all the time anyway.

What’s one feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra you’ve been using the most lately?

Cameron: For me, it’s definitely the camera. If something funny happens with the team you’ve got to grab it quick before somebody tells you to delete it.

Cayden: Yeah, but the Privacy Display is crazy. Never seen a phone do something like that.

Who’s the best photographer in the family?

Cayden: Not gonna lie, it’s gotta be me.

Cameron: He thinks it’s him. I’ll give him credit though, these cameras make everybody look like they know what they’re doing. But if it’s a big moment, I’m making sure I’m the one taking it.

When you look back on this season and this campaign with Samsung, what are you going to remember most?

Cayden: Honestly just the experience. Playing together at this level, being around our teammates every day, and getting opportunities like this off the court too.

Cameron: It’s been a lot of fun. Basketball, school, working with brands like Samsung — it’s been a crazy year in a good way. Those are the moments you’ll remember.
