The Samsung Booth will be open for exhibitors at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, Booth #3254, from November 11-12, 2018.
“Samsung HTVs and networking solutions embody the foundation and proficiency of our latest hotel innovations,” said Jonas Tanenbaum, Vice President of the Samsung Hospitality TV Division. “Our digital displays and collaboration tools expand our vision for creating streamlined, intuitive hotels. Integrations with properties around the globe continue to demonstrate our dedication to elevating the hotel experience for guests and property managers.”
The direct-lit LED technology within these HTVs deliver rich and bright imagery as well as crisp and sharp text visuals that combine for a top-quality viewing experience. New Samsung Wireless Solution Helps Hotel ‘Go Cordless’
Samsung also announced its deployment of hospitality TV and networking solutions to Revisn™ , a boutique hotel with luxury executive residences based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Samsung will provide Revisn and its 110 long-term guests with its new Samsung Axis wireless solution, which seamlessly integrates the network to Revisn’s Property Management System, while driving guest traffic over an unlicensed wireless network, safely and securely.
This lets Revisn provide a fully-connected wireless experience for guests, not only for Internet access, but also for better control over their in-room devices, including smart phones, tablets, speakers, 43 and 50-inch Samsung HTV sets (with streamed and screen casted content), and a Virtual Digital Assistant (VDA).
Samsung Axis also provides secure wireless beyond hotel rooms, supporting a Revisn guest throughout hotel grounds. Using a Samsung Software Defined Network (SDN) Gateway, it enables hoteliers to micro-segment their network, providing each guest with a personal ‘bubble’ of Wi-Fi connectivity that travels with them from the hotel restaurant, to the pool, and back to their room without dropping the connection.
