Samsung Introduces New WAF Interactive Display at FETC and TCEA
The new educational display enhances in-classroom collaboration and builds on Samsung’s partnership with Google with its second Google EDLA-certified solution

Samsung Electronics America is showcasing its latest education technology solutions at the 2025 National Future of Education Technology® (FETC) Conference (Booth #1681) and the upcoming Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) Convention and Exposition (Booth #923). Attendees at both shows will receive a first look at Samsung’s new Interactive Display WAF Series.
Samsung’s AI-powered WAF Interactive Display unlocks unlimited learning possibilities
Available in 65-, 75- and 86-inch screens, the WAF delivers captivating classroom experiences for students and educators alike. Powered by the Android 14 operating system, the WAF builds on the successes of Samsung’s first Google Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement (EDLA)-certified classroom display, the WAD series, with a variety of familiar pre-installed and downloadable Google Apps via the Google Play Store and introduces new features to enhance classroom instruction and engagement.
A simple press of the always-visible “Annotation” button empowers users to take notes anytime without interruptions, even over videos and other visuals on the screen. The feature makes collaborating and engaging during lessons more seamless and less intrusive. The Note app on the display has been updated to allow multiple students to use the whiteboard at once. Up to four students can work in their own zones without affecting others, fostering both collaboration and individual learning.
A powerful octa-core CPU delivers smooth performance to render detailed 4K graphics and tap into the power of AI with reliable performance. Front-facing quick access controls on the WAF allow users to operate the interactive display more efficiently, enhancing the overall user experience. The WAF’s device management solution optimizes remote management of the whiteboard settings and apps, guaranteeing efficient and stable operation in any learning environment.
“During a time when educators are looking for solutions to inspire and raise engagement, Samsung’s WAF interactive lineup unlocks new opportunities to improve classroom collaboration and allow every student to thrive,” said David Phelps, Head of Display Division, Samsung Electronics America. “We’re making it easier for educators to engage and collaborate with multiple students and create a shared, yet personal, learning experience.”
Education coaches highlight new strategies for the classroom
