Samsung is #1 in Customer Satisfaction in 8 J.D. Power Kitchen and Laundry Appliance Categories

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is proud to announce the rankings and results of J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Appliance Satisfaction Study. Samsung ranked highest in 8 of 11 categories with the highest rankings in Customer Satisfaction. Samsung received the most awards for Kitchen and Laundry Appliances in 2023.

The J.D. Power study assessed feedback from more than 21,000 customers who purchased home appliances within the past year, measuring their satisfaction on a 1,000-point scale according to five factors: Performance and Reliability; Features and Settings; Price; Ease of Use; and Styling and Appearance. Participants lauded Samsung appliances for their design and functionality and the survey found that many customers made their purchases after researching the products online, with 45% saying they chose Samsung after reading good reviews.

This year, Samsung ranked highest in all 3 laundry appliance segments:

• In Front Load Clothes Washers, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of five brands, performing highest in all five product assessment factors: Features and Settings, Price, Ease of Use, Performance and Reliability and Styling and Appearance.
• In Top Load Clothes Washers, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of five brands for the fifth year in a row, performing highest in Features and Settings; Price; Performance and Reliability; and Styling and Appearance.
• In Clothes Dryers, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of five brands, performing highest in Features and Settings; Price; Performance and Reliability; and Styling and Appearance.

Samsung also received the top ranking in 5 kitchen appliance segments:

• In French Door Refrigerators, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of five brands, performing highest in all five product assessment factors: Features and Settings, Price, Ease of Use, Performance and Reliability and Styling and Appearance.
• In Top Mount Freezer Two-Door Refrigerators, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of five brands for the second year in a row, performing the highest in Features and Settings; Price; and Styling and Appearance.
• In Cooktops, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of six brands for the second year in a row, performing the highest in Features and Settings; Price; Performance and Reliability; and Styling and Appearance.
• In Ranges, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of six brands for the second year in a row, performing the highest in Features and Settings; Price; Ease of Use; and Styling and Appearance.
• In Over-the-Range Microwaves, Samsung ranked #1 in customer satisfaction out of six brands, performing highest in Features and Settings; Performance and Reliability; and Styling and Appearance.
