A good rule of thumb is to keep brightness at 50%, ensuring it is not too bright where it washes out darker areas but not too dull causing darker scenes to be too dark to see. Increasing contrast will make shadows deeper and highlights brighter, enhancing the overall depth of the image. Adjusting the backlight will allow you to control how much light the screen produces. You may want to turn this up if your room is particularly bright and turn it down if your room is dark. |
