Letterman TV becomes the exclusive television home to the legendary host’s 33-year late-night career, uniting the libraries that aired on NBC and CBS

9/10/2025

Starting today, Letterman TV, David Letterman’s exclusive 24/7 TV channel available only on Samsung TV Plus, will begin airing content from over 1,800 episodes of NBC’s famed Late Night with David Letterman.

Letterman TV debuted on Samsung TV Plus in December 2024, featuring The Late Show with David Letterman, which is owned by his production company, Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Now, with the additional episodes from NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution, Letterman TV today becomes the only destination on television where viewers can experience the full range of his legendary career as the longest-running late-night host.

Letterman TV now spans show content carefully curated from his 33 years and more than 6,000 episodes in late-night television, across his NBC and CBS eras—all in one place, no subscription needed.

“I can’t begin to express how happy I am to be on Samsung TVs. Plus listen to this, stay in your seats, the ride is not over — the Letterman TV channel now includes Late Night,” said Letterman. “All the fun of NBC and me 40 years ago. Are you kidding!? The Golden Age of television!!! All thanks to my old friends (cough) at NBC joining my new Samsung TV Plus friends. Prayers answered. Now more reason to stay home and watch TV. Thanks for believing in me, America!”

Late Night with David Letterman launched NBC’s Late Night franchise and redefined late-night television with its influential comedy. The NBC episodes will give longtime fans and new viewers alike the chance to enjoy the beginning of Letterman’s late-night career from iconic interviews, Stupid Pet Tricks and Top Ten Lists.

“David Letterman kicked off his late-night career at NBC and his unique, irreverent humor went on to reshape the talk-show format,” said Bruce Casino, EVP, Sales & Distribution – U.S., NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution. “He set a standard that continues to inspire hosts and comedians across the spectrum, and we’re excited to partner with Worldwide Pants and Samsung TV Plus to bring his Late Night library to the Letterman TV FAST channel.”

The initial Late Night content, which is on Samsung TV Plus today, includes landmark episodes including Letterman’s inaugural Late Night show, with Bill Murray as the first guest, his one-year anniversary episode, and themed episodes “Camping with Barry White” and “Humidifier vs. Dehumidifier.” The initial batch will also include “Best of” packages from Late Night featuring Steve Martin, Pee Wee Herman and Andy Kaufman. Additional episodes and clips from Late Night will be added to the channel monthly.

“Letterman’s NBC years were more than just comedy—they set the standard of modern late-night,” said Salek Brodsky, Senior Vice President & Global Head, Samsung TV Plus. “Bringing this iconic era to Samsung TV Plus further cements the service as a destination for culture defining entertainment. As the late-night landscape evolves, Samsung TV Plus is the home where the genre’s greatest voices keep their legacy alive.”

Letterman TV features exclusive never-before-seen content on television including intros from Dave with fresh commentary and behind-the-scenes anecdotes on his interviews. Whether you’re revisiting Dave’s monologues, his renowned conversations with celebrity guests, or watching for the first time, Letterman TV now offers the full scope of one of television’s most celebrated careers—all curated, streaming, and subscription-free.
