Samsung Electronics America has partnered with ScoreVision, a pioneer in software solutions for fan engagement, to elevate the game-day experience at six middle schools across the Millard Public School district in Omaha, Nebraska. The schools use a combination of Samsung digital displays and ScoreVisionLE (SVLE) software to create an immersive, dynamic platform that amplifies team spirit during sporting events, creates fundraising opportunities and facilitates school-wide communication.

Millard Public Schools previously collaborated with ScoreVision on Samsung digital display installations in the district’s high school gymnasiums. ScoreVision introduced Millard Public Schools to Samsung displays as a cost-effective solution to create immersive game-day experiences for students, faculty, staff and spectators at the middle school level. Samsung installed a total of 12 boards, including two in each of the six middle schools’ gymnasiums.

“Samsung display technology combined with SVLE creates a dynamic experience for school communities across the Millard Public School district,” said Sukhmani Mohta, Chief Marketing Officer, Samsung Electronics America. As technology has become integrated into the students’ education and extracurricular activities, the digital displays are now a symbol of the district’s continued commitment to creating a cutting-edge environment and connecting school communities among students, staff and parents.”

Samsung digital displays have revolutionized sporting events at Millard Public Schools, spotlighting student-athletes during games and bolstering school spirit and pride throughout the district. The displays also provide a potential revenue stream through sales of advertising placements during school games.

The versatility of the screens extends beyond the sports arena. They are a powerful communication tool, allowing for the effective output of information throughout the school day. With the ability to showcase images and videos, Samsung displays provide an innovative avenue to highlight student achievements and serve as the centerpiece for other school events like concerts and honors ceremonies.

“With this partnership, Samsung Displays and ScoreVision give our middle school students a dynamic educational environment that would normally only be found at the high school or college level,” said Chad Zimmerman, District Activity Director, Millard Public Schools. “In addition to elevating engagement during sports events, the display technology adds to our sense of school community. Every Millard Public Schools student has an opportunity to appear on the big screens. You can tell they feel valued and recognized when their achievements are displayed for all their peers to see.”

“We are excited to collaborate with Samsung on a new and modern way to bring scoring into these athletic venues. Samsung is a market leader in displays, and when paired with ScoreVision’s software offering, it delivers a truly unique experience. Having this solution deployed at Millard Public Schools district-wide is a testament to the forward-thinking leadership at the district and each school. We look forward to serving and supporting their community for many years, ” said Michael Medrano, President of ScoreVision.
