Finding Your Keys
We all have our routines when we’re leaving the house – purse, keys, wallet? Check! But sometimes it doesn’t go quite so smoothly. Misplace any one item and now you’re stuck searching in a pinch.
Enter: the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag3 premium key ring case.9 It’s designed to securely attach your SmartTag3 to your keys, bags, and daily personal items for intuitive, grab-and-go usability and effortless tracking.
If your keys do happen to go missing while attached to your SmartTag3 premium key ring case, you’ll have access to features that help you see further and find faster. Enhanced Compass View will help you to narrow in on items from farther away.10,11 Powered by Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding, Compass View provides distance and directional guidance from up to 60 meters away, around three times farther than the previous generation.12,13
As you get closer to locating your missing items, ultra-wideband (UWB) will deliver greater precision to create a more continuous finding experience from long range to close range, guiding you more accurately as you get closer.
Keeping Track of Luggage
When you’re traveling, you want to see new sights, explore, and go on adventures without worry. Galaxy SmartTag3 helps you to stay steps ahead of any curveballs, like luggage going missing, and helps you keep your energy high with tools to help control the situation.
If your SmartTag3 moves out of the range of connection, Galaxy Find Network will help you keep searching.14 Over 900 million participating Galaxy devices worldwide can act as central connection points, helping to detect and find your Galaxy SmartTag3, and update its location. Now even faster, Galaxy Find Network updates can surface new location information soon after disconnection, helping to reduce uncertainty when your luggage or other tagged belongings are separated from you.
And, for the first time in the Galaxy SmartTag lineup, Galaxy SmartTag3 also features cross-OS compatibility for Galaxy and iOS devices. When you’re traveling with family or let a friend borrow a suitcase for a trip, you can access finding and sharing features across platforms. With SmartThings Find, you can check and share a tag’s location and use Search Nearby across supported devices.15 This allows all parties to check the location of the tag and use supported finding features from their own Galaxy or iOS device.
Other Everyday Items
Whether you want to have extra oversight of your belongings, like a wallet and purse, or everyday items like a toolbox and bike, Galaxy has a wide selection of cases for your SmartTag3, making it even easier to keep tabs on your valuables and keep them safe.
In addition, Galaxy SmartTag3 retains an IP6716 water and dust resistance rating alongside other key Galaxy SmartTag capabilities, such as SmartThings IoT Control, which allows users to trigger preset routines for compatible connected devices using the programmable tag button, for even more utility.
