Samsung is the Most Awarded Brand in J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Appliance Satisfaction Study

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is the most awarded brand in the JD Power 2026 U.S. Appliance Satisfaction Study^SM, earning more JD Power awards for home appliances than any other brand. Samsung ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the U.S. across six major appliance categories, underscoring the company’s continued focus on delivering innovative, reliable appliances designed for everyday convenience and modern consumer needs.

The JD Power 2026 U.S. Appliance Satisfaction Study assessed feedback from more than 28,411 customers who purchased home appliances within the past year, measuring their satisfaction on a 1,000-point scale according to seven dimensions: Durability; Performance; Features and Settings; Ease of Use; Styling and Appearance; Value Given Price Paid; and Level of Trust. Participants recognized Samsung as a trusted and durable brand with innovative products and high satisfaction around design and functionality.

Samsung ranked No. 1 in customer satisfaction in six appliance categories:

• Samsung’s French Door Refrigerators ranked highest in Performance, Features and Settings, Ease of Use, Styling and Appearance and Value Given Price Paid, while its Side-by-Side Refrigerators led in Durability, Features and Settings, Ease of Use, Value Given Price Paid and Level of Trust.
• The brand’s Top-Mount Freezer Refrigerators were No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction for the second year in a row and also ranked highest in all seven dimensions, receiving top marks for Durability, Performance, Features and Settings, Ease of Use, Styling and Appearance, Value Given Price Paid and Level of Trust.
• The brand’s Dishwashers earned the highest customer ratings for Performance, Features and Settings and Value Given Price Paid.
• Samsung’s Over-the-Range Microwaves received top marks for Durability, Performance, Features and Settings and Styling and Appearance.
• Samsung’s Clothes Dryers received top marks across all seven dimensions measured in the study: Durability, Performance, Features and Settings, Ease of Use, Styling and Appearance, Value Given Price Paid and Level of Trust.
